I honestly do appreciate anything like fan-art, helpful and kind comments, etc. But a few times I’ve had that kind of reply tagged on afterwords when I barely speak to the person or know them at all.
I don’t mean to toot my own horn but I am an artist who does have some online recognition. so I’m no stranger to tryhard friend-wannabes (sorry if that sounds harsh). I just feel… I guess put on the spot when someone says something like this. Am I supposed to just agree that yeah, we’re totally friends even though I don’t know anything about you? Am I expected to return the favor? It’s just I’ve been used in the past so I’m pretty wary about these sort of statements.

I enjoy getting fan art just like every other artist, but I really hate it when the person who drew it flat out says that they strive/work hard to make me happy…..You DON’T have to work hard and really strive to make me happy, I appreciate all the fan art I get, so calm down.

Have to be OOC, but ok.
1) I love collecting small figurines of my favorite characters.
2) I can go many hours without eating, as long as I get my coffee during the day, everything else is whatever.
3) I sleep too much (because I like dreaming) and daydream a LOT.
4) I can’t look people in the eyes when I talk to them about a serious issue, I feel more comfortable talking to them when I don’t look at them at all.
5) I’m Asexual…sex was never interesting to me and I’m kinda repulsed by it…
